BMW Motorrad has once again delivered a strong performance, crossing the 2 lakh global sales milestone in 2025. This marks the fourth consecutive year the premium motorcycle brand has achieved this impressive benchmark.

In total, BMW Motorrad delivered 2,02,563 motorcycles worldwide in 2025, despite an overall slowdown in the global 500cc-and-above motorcycle segment.
R 1300 GS Models Lead Global Sales
The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure emerged as the brand’s top-selling motorcycle with 33,570 units sold, closely followed by the R 1300 GS at 32,555 units. The supersport S 1000 RR secured third place with 11,643 units delivered globally.
Europe Remains the Strongest Market
Europe continued to be BMW Motorrad’s largest market, accounting for 1,18,814 units in 2025. Germany led the region with 25,516 motorcycles sold, followed by:
France: 19,019 units
Italy: 16,692 units
Spain: 14,005 units
Outside Europe, the brand recorded strong sales in:
USA: 14,869 units
Brazil: 14,488 units
China: 10,555 units
BMW Motorrad India Achieves Record Sales
BMW Motorrad India also reported its highest-ever annual sales, delivering 5,841 motorcycles in 2025. The BMW G 310 RR emerged as the brand’s best-selling model in the Indian market.

Four-cylinder segment: 28,408 units
Urban Mobility models (C 400 GT, C 400 X, CE 04, CE 02): Over 18,400 units
Strong December Performance
In December alone, BMW Motorrad sold 15,109 motorcycles, marking the third-best December in the company’s history, underlining sustained demand across global markets.
