New Volvo EX60 Revealed with Up to 810km Range

Volvo has unveiled the EX60 for the European market, marking its entry into the luxury electric midsize SUV segment. Built on the brand’s new EV-dedicated SPA3 platform, the EX60 is the electric counterpart to the ICE-powered XC60. Following its European debut, the EX60 is expected to launch in the US at a later date.

Design & Exterior

The Volvo EX60’s design resembles a larger EX30 and carries the brand’s latest design language. The front end features split headlamps with signature ‘Thor’s Hammer’ LED DRLs and a closed-off grille, reinforcing its electric identity. The bumper integrates a black scuff plate for a rugged look.

In profile, the EX60 gets smooth surfaces with subtle character lines on the wheel arches and doors. It also features illuminated wing grip-style door handles mounted on the window line, replacing traditional handles. Wheel sizes range from 20 to 22 inches, with slightly wider rear wheels for improved traction.

At the rear, slim LED tail-lamps, thick black cladding and a silver accent strip on the bumper give it a premium appearance. Buyers can choose between two exterior themes — Bright (silver accents) and Dark (black accents).

Volvo also offers a Cross Country variant, which comes with 20mm higher ground clearance, stainless steel skid plates, matte black cladding, exclusive Frost Green paint, a unique interior theme and Cross Country badging. It also features adaptive air suspension with an off-road mode.

Interior & Features

Inside, the EX60 gets a dual-tone, layered dashboard design and a two-spoke steering wheel with physical controls. A steering column-mounted drive selector, a large central glovebox and generous storage spaces add to practicality.
