Greaves Electric Mobility has expanded its electric two-wheeler lineup with the launch of the Ampere Magnus Grand Max, priced at ₹94,999 (introductory, ex-showroom). Positioned above the existing Magnus Grand, the new model aims to offer a more premium and practical ownership experience, especially for last-mile delivery riders and commuters in semi-urban and rural areas.

Battery, Range & Charging
The Magnus Grand Max is powered by a 3kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, delivering:
Claimed real-world range: Over 100km
Certified IDC range: 142km
Ampere claims a 20–80% charge time of 4.5 hours, though full charging times haven’t been officially disclosed. The battery comes with a 3-year/75,000km warranty as standard. Like a few new EVs such as the Suzuki e-Access, the Magnus Grand Max uses LFP cells, which are known for improved safety and thermal stability compared to NMC batteries.
Performance & Hardware
Powering the scooter is a hub-mounted motor producing:
2.4kW peak power
1.5kW nominal output
The Magnus Grand Max has a claimed top speed of 65kmph and offers two riding modes — Eco and City — along with reverse assist.
Underpinnings remain simple and practical:
Telescopic front fork
Twin rear shock absorbers
130mm drum brakes at both ends
Features & Practicality
One of the biggest highlights is its 33-litre underseat storage, the largest ever on any Ampere scooter and among the biggest in its price segment. Other features include:
3.5-inch LCD instrument cluster
Dual-tone colour options: Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green, Cinnamon Copper
