Triumph has unveiled a new limited-edition neo-retro motorcycle overseas — the Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition. Based on the recently updated Speed Twin 1200 RS, this special model brings back the iconic cafe racer styling that enthusiasts loved in the now-discontinued Thruxton 1200.

Limited to just 800 units worldwide, the Cafe Racer Edition blends modern performance with classic British motorcycling aesthetics, making it one of the most exclusive Triumph models currently on offer.
Key Highlights
Limited to 800 units globally, each with a certificate of authenticity
Powered by a 1,200cc parallel-twin engine producing 105hp and 112Nm
Features clip-on handlebars, café racer bodywork, and a green/silver dual-tone paint scheme
Equipped with bidirectional quickshifter, Ohlins suspension, and Brembo monobloc brakes
Design & Styling
True to its cafe racer roots, the Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition sports clip-on handlebars, a sculpted fuel tank, and a colour-matched headlight cowl. The standout green and silver paint finish, paired with a quilted tan leather seat, gives the bike a premium, vintage-inspired look that recalls Triumph’s legendary cafe racers of the past.

Engine, Performance & Hardware
Under the retro bodywork lies the same mechanical package as the Speed Twin 1200 RS:
Engine: 1,200cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin
Power: 105hp @ 7,750rpm
Torque: 112Nm @ 4,250rpm
The chassis setup includes fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes, and Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tyres, ensuring high performance to match the aggressive styling. A bidirectional quickshifter and full suite of electronic riding aids further enhance its modern appeal.
Price & Availability
The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Cafe Racer Edition is priced at GBP 15,995 (approx. ₹20.22 lakh), making it significantly more expensive than the standard Speed Twin 1200 RS, which costs GBP 14,695 (approx. ₹18.58 lakh).
Given the limited production run of 800 units, the chances of this model launching in India are slim.
